Inspirations

I get the majority of my inspiration from magazines and cookbooks. I don't really look online at other peoples recipes unless I am in need of something simple. For example, the other day I could not find creme fraiche in the store, so I looked up online what I could use instead. Many people were saying to use sour cream and mixing heavy cream with sour cream, stuff like that. But I always turn to my most trusted source of information. Yes, you guessed right - Jamie Oliver. I ended up using plain greek yogurt instead of creme fraiche and the creamy french dressing was still amazing.

I completely agree with Jamie Olivers' philosophy about food and the like. Now I do not want to be putting words into his mouth, so here is his website to get you started:

I love his way of cooking. Taste and texture and everything is here, and that's the main thing that should be there, presentation is a perk and should be there as well, but flavour is everything, especially when talking about home-cooking. I encourage you to look up his 30 minute meals videos and also check out his app for the iPhone. Great stuff!

I will be adding more to this page as time goes on, don't you worry!

Enjoy!
